Celades: "We did a lot of things well, but can't be satisfied with the result"
Albert Celades analysed the 3-3 draw with Getafe CF at Mestalla affter the final whistle, in his post-match press conference.
The possible penalty
"The players are talking about the footage in the dressing room, and you can imagine their thoughts. I imagine that the officials reviewed the incident and decided that it wasn't a penalty. I can't say anything more than that. I couldn't see it from where I was positioned, but I saw the reaction of the players and the fans. However, I imagine that it was reviewed. When a situation like that happens, it's a moment of frustration."
The performance
"We can't go home satisfied after the game finished as it did. We responded to them scoring a goal right at the start of the game, recovering against a team who are difficult to play, very solid, and who concede few goals and have showed great defensive solidity. We bounced back from that situation and went into half time feeling good, with the score at 3-1. In the second half, everything got a little out of control.
Adapting to 4-3-3
"We did a lot of things well. That's why we scored three goals against a team who are difficult to score and create chances against. There were moments in which we played very well. We recovered from a difficult start to the match, and the team showed personality. Later on, the game got out of control and we allowed too many counterattacks and chances for the opposition. We need to improve in that aspect and of course we aren't happy about that situation. However, we need to continue working hard and insisting."
